Painting III-Mural painting
Our comprehensive curriculum goes beyond traditional boundaries, covering color and design concepts, content exploration, and fostering collaboration among peers. The painting adventure starts with the development of your technical vocabulary, artistic method, and critical evaluation skills, all rooted in a rich art historical and contemporary art context. Using a modular course approach, you can tailor your course sequence to reflect your skill development and scheduling needs, all while refining your creativity and critical thinking. Dive into topics such as acrylic and oil painting, painting the human figure, mural painting, material exploration, and further investigation through an independent study.

This course is dedicated to mastering mural development, collective designing, and production within a cross-cultural context. Collaborate with fellow students as you contribute to site-specific mural projects within the community, honing both your artistic and community engagement skills.

To ensure a well-rounded education, all Studio Minors are required to complete Drawing or Two-Dimensional Design before enrolling in Minor classes.
